Ruth Wassel, nee Heskin, class of 1980
After living in Italy for 10 years Ruth returned to Ireland and completed the three month cookery course in Ballymaloe. She stayed on teaching there for two years and then spent ten years with Housework’s ltd as showroom manager/Appliance specialist. In 2011 Ruth started her own business ‘Cooking with Ruth’. There is nothing she loves more than teaching people how to cook well using quality ingredients. She is also brand ambassador for Bora cooking systems and an advisor for Thermomix.
